Ephesians 5:1-2

1 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;
2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling savor.

“To be his child is not only to be brought into a relationship where God has forgiven us; it is the beginning of a process of reflecting God’s gracious, merciful, and forgiving character to the world.”
